Since the start of our Proof-of-Concept (PoC) in Japan, we have received a number of inquiries from various companies interested in EnerScale’s technology—currently in the R&D phase—which utilizes data to pre-assess a solar panel’s end-of-life (EOL) options, for example, whether a solar panel has a potential for reuse or needs to be recycled.
Through our PoC, we will continue to develop a mechanism to make the reuse and recycling of solar panels more efficient, with an aim to create a global circular economy for the solar industry.
