EnerScale Closed Beta Version 7 is now available

We have released EnerScale Closed Beta Version 7, now available for limited access. This version introduces a feature that evaluates the economic value of solar panels assessed on the EnerScale platform. Specifically, the feature quantitatively evaluates the economic value of assessed solar panels based on their remaining useful life: 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, and 30 years. The evaluation incorporates data and analysis results from the data assessment, along with generalized constants and variables.

This feature enables users to quantitatively assess the “sales price level considering profitability (i.e., whether reuse generates economic benefits)” of PV panels in operation. Although reusing solar panels is desirable, forming a market is difficult without economic profitability. This feature supports users in promoting the reuse of PV panels, aiming to reduce the overproduction of solar panels. Additionally, it serves as an evaluation metric that incorporates both environmental life cycle and economic value.

Key Features:

  • Evaluation based on remaining useful life of 10, 15, 20, and 30 years
  • Economic evaluation of Willingness to Pay (WTP) using the Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE)
